You're welcome! Clever mum hacks to make your life a little bit easier
We all have those days where we simply cannot function well, no matter how much coffee we drink.
With that in mind, we've decided to come up with some little life hacks that may just make your mum life that bit easier.
1. Keep shoes in the car
Oh, we have all been there! That dreaded lengthy argument with the kids as you try to get their shoes on before leaving the house. Avoid the battle by keeping a few spare pairs of shoes in the car. It is amazing how much a little trick like this can help you get to wherever you're going on time!

2. Shrink your jeans
There is nothing more annoying than when your jeans get baggy and out of shape. Especially as you tear around the playground after scamp number two.
Having to constantly pull them up or readjust them around your waist could drive you crazy. With that in mind, here is a great way to shrink your denim back into the shape you love.
Wash your jeans using hot water, then throw your jeans into the dryer and dry until they are damp. Set your iron on its highest heat setting, then iron the jeans until dry. Job done.
3. Clean quick and often
This may seem obvious, but it is rare that any of us get around to cleaning 'as we go'. Staying on top of things really does make a serious difference.
Don't let it get to the stage where your house needs a 13-hour marathon cleaning session. Clean for 10 minutes every few hours to avoid total chaos – you'll be glad you did.
This is especially important in the evenings when it is tempting just to fall into bed without giving the house a second thought. Giving a quick reset to your home makes all the difference in the morning, and you will be so glad you did!
4. Stock up on essentials
We all know that sinking feeling when we finally get around to doing something that's been on our to-do list for AGES and have run out of an essential ingredient to complete the task!
We're not just talking about cooking – we mean going to use the vacuum cleaner to realise there are no bags, or printing something sans ink (chaos).
Do your future self a massive favour and keep to hand a sufficient supply of printer ink, bags and anything else you may find yourself in need of.
5. Lists, baby
Is there anything more satisfying than writing out a to-do list and then ticking everything off by the end of the day? Absolutely not.
Before you go to bed each night, write out everything you have to do the next day. It will put your mind at ease, you'll sleep way better and who doesn't love to do a massive TICK at the end of each task?
TICK.
6. Clean those toys
Kids are cute and absolutely amazing, but my days do they make a mess. Do you find yourself stressed out about trying to keep your child's toys clean?
Where appropriate (no holes for germs to linger), throw them all into the dishwasher for a quick once-over.
You're welcome.
7. Got the sniffles?
If your little one has a cold, help clear their nose by putting vapour rub on their feet and covering it with socks.
This way they won’t accidentally get it on their face or in their eyes, which is the absolute WORST! This is also said to help coughs – and we are willing to try anything to help them (and us!) get a good nights sleep.
8. Put a hook on the back of your baby’s highchair
Keep all your bibs together by putting a hook at the back of your baby's highchair.
It is a seriously easy thing to do and you can get stick-on ones from most hardware stores.
This way you will always have a bib to hand when it comes to feeding time.
It’s also a great place to store them so you are not rooting in a drawer to find one when you are up to your eyes in mashed banana.
