You’ll NEVER guess what one teacher found in her student's school bag

Well that was unexpected!

Kids bring all kinds of things into class – things they aren't really meant to bring in: toys, teddies, stickers and trading cars… the list is endless.

But this is definitely a first! 

When Anna Kate Hood, a first grade teacher in America, had a look in one student’s school bag, she was no doubt left in complete shock!

There, nestled at the bottom of the bag, on top of a comfy looking blanket, sat two adorable little kittens.

Sharing the sweet image on the Love What Matters Facebook page, Anna explained how her young pupil wanted to cuddle the kittens after she finished her work.

The little girl clearly couldn’t bare to leave her pets at home and even put food in the bag to keep them!

"They tell teachers to be prepared for anything, but I was not ready to open a book bag this morning and find two kittens,” Kate wrote.

“My student said she even put food in there and wanted to keep them at her desk to cuddle with after she finished her work. Gotta love first grade."

So cute!
