Would you do it? Husband and wife dress up as Batman and Batgirl for the best reason ever

A couple from Nashville have possibly outdone all pregnancy announcements with an awesome photoshoot.

James and Alisha Doherty are expecting their first baby, and decided to do a superhero themed announcement.

The couple frequently dress up attending parties, charity events and schools for fun, so when it came to their pregnancy announcement they stuck to what they knew best. 

The father-to-be labelled the four images: “My wife and I have a sidekick on the way.”

Lo and behold Alisha was standing in a Batgirl outfit, displaying a Robin baby grow.

The pictures, which were uploaded to Imgur in their entirety, depict Batman’s reaction to the news, Batman drinking for three while Batgirl eats for two, and Batman trying to get to grips with baby lingo.

We have a feeling these guys are going to make great, fun loving parents.
