World Book Day: Lidl is selling the BEST costumes for your mini bookworms
With World Book Day just around the corner (March 7), Lidl is taking the pressure off parents by launching a range of great value costumes and books to fire the little ones’ imagination.
The range starts from just 99p – how novel!
Whether customers’ kids like to go all in and dress the little ones up as their favourite literary character, or prefer to leave the characters on the shelf, Lidl has everything you need to make World Book Day 2019 a memorable one.
The unisex costume range includes everyone’s favourite teen-wizard, an inquisitive girl in fantasy land, a mischievous boy who never grew up, an eccentric chocolatier, an enchanting nanny and a brave, young girl dressed in red. Each complete Kids’ Costume costs just £4.99.
The supermarket is also selling Kids’ Classic Stories for just 99p each, with a fabulous selection including Alice in Wonderland, Black Beauty, Treasure Island, Wind in the Willows and Wizard of Oz.
Even little readers can get involved in the magic of World Book Day with Lidl, as the range includes a Kids’ Book Tower for £4.99 which is a selection of 10 cute, cardboard books, designed to help budding bookworms expand their vocabulary.
The range is set to be a bestseller, with costumes and books predicted to fly off the shelves, so customers should avoid disappointment and head to Lidl stores on February 24.
