Little boy's excitement after finishing chemo is INFECTIOUS
We can't help but smile at this adorable little boy!
Six-year-old Jimmy Spagnolo has a lot to celebrate; the youngster, who has been battling an inoperable brain tumour since he was just four-month-old, has just finished chemotherapy.
And as is tradition at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, little Jimmy got to ring the big bell which for patients signifies the end of a treatment milestone.
In fact, he is so excited he does a little dance and slaps his belly in delight.
Wearing a Superman T-shirt, he literally cannot contain himself and it's hard not to want to jump for joy at his happiness.
Talking about the significance of the bell, Jim, Jmmy's father, told CBS Pittsburgh: "That was our battle cry for the year for this round of treatment.”
“It was really special.”Delighted with the response that her son's video has received, Lacie took to the I'm Praying for Jimmy Spagnolo Facebook page, to thank everyone.
"Jimmy's moment is viral and being felt around the world. Just, wow. The celebration that they had for him at school is being embraced by the children that surround him everyday. I'm in awe," she wrote.
"Those children now know that anything is possible. As much as Jimmy was positively affected by the events over the last few days it fills my heart to know his story, his triumphs will be remembered by so many.
"My hope is that in your moment of weakness at any given time in your life, you remember what Jimmy's strength looked like and I hope that image, that sound gives you strength."
Wow.
