We can all learn a thing or two from Winnie-the-Pooh's life advice
Winnie-the-Pooh is the most iconic bear of all time.
Making his first appearance in 1926, the lovable bear has been around for 92 years – so he has a few nuggets of wisdom that we can all learn a thing or two from.
Whether it's helping his friends or trying to understand something, Pooh's wise words are something we should all take note of.
1. To push yourself out of your comfort zone
"You can’t always sit in your corner of the Forest and wait for people to come to you – you have to go to them sometimes."
2. That it's OK to sit and do nothing
"Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering."
3. The importance of kindness
"Just because an animal is large, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t want kindness; however big Tigger seems to be, remember that he wants as much kindness as Roo."
4. The importance of being patient
"If the person you are talking to doesn’t appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear."
5. That life should be enjoyed
“Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved.”
6. And finally, to be confident in yourself and your abilities
"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
