Mum's Life

'We are all on this crazy rollercoaster' - Woman reassures every type of mum

We all face different battles each day that we wake up, and no one episode is the same.

It's a series of ups and downs, some more effective than others and sometimes we feel like our lives are playing out on screen.

Britt LeBoeuf is a mum who knows this feeling, however, she hasn't excluded other mums from the predicament either.

She is also aware that other mums out there will have similar feelings from differing situations, penning a moving post on the mums of this world.

"I know a mum that is tired all day long. […] I know a mum that folds laundry one handed while balancing a 25lb baby on her hip."

"I know a mum that knows exactly where each of her kids’ favourite toys are at any given moment."

There are several types of mums out there who can't have everything; they haven't had their hair cut in over a year, they worry they won't have a career when their babies are grown, they want desperately to reconnect with their husbands.

"I know a mum that longs to sit and have a glass of wine with her best friends, but one is 500 miles away and the other works while she’s asleep."

"I know a mum that pretends to have it all together all of the time, but sometimes she just wants her own mum instead of being the mother herself."

"I know a mum that constantly worries about her children – who they’ll be, where they will go, how she will watch over them after they are grown."

"I know a mum that just wants the best for her family and hopes that they know that she is doing the best that she can day in and day out."

We all know these mums, we know that none of us are perfect but that we love our family more than life itself, but there is a reason we know these mums.

Because each and every one of us is this mum.

"We all know mums like this that we have to lift up and encourage because we are all on this crazy rollercoaster called motherhood together."

"So if you know this mum or are this mum, give her a hug, buy her a cup of coffee and pat her on the back from time to time. She could really use all three."

The next time you see a mum, make sure and smile, and remind her she is doing an awesome job.
