Watch: Star-studded trailer for The Muppets Mayhem has been released

Disney+ has released the official trailer for the new Original series The Muppets Mayhem, and the line-up is jam-packed with famous faces. 

Starring Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry and The Electric Mayhem Band, this musical comedy series premieres on May 10, only on Disney+.

The Muppets Mayhem tells the story of The Electric Mayhem Band, which consists of Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet, as they finally begin their journey to record their first-ever studio album.

A driven music executive, Nora Singh, played by Lilly Singh, help the band follow their dreams to record their album as they come face-to-face with the current-day music scene.

The Disney+ Original series features huge names including Paula Abdul, Steve Aoki, deadmau5, Desiigner, Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Irwin, Kesha, Lil Nas X, Ryan Seacrest, Ziggy Marley and Zedd to name a few. 

These stars will be joining the previously announced recurring guest star Anders Holm and The Electric Mayhem Band on their journey.

The series was developed and written by executive producers Adam F. Goldberg (The Goldbergs), Bill Barretta (The Muppets, Muppets Haunted Mansion) and co-executive producer Jeff Yorkes. 

Michael Bostick, Kris Eber and The Muppets Studio’s David Lightbody and Leigh Slaughter also serve as executive producers. Original music is provided by executive music producer and Songwriter Hall of Fame inductee Linda Perry.

The Muppets Mayhem soundtrack will also be available on streaming platforms on May 10, as all episodes of the series will be released on Disney+ on the same day.

The band’s debut album, The Electric Mayhem, is set for release on vinyl on May 12, which you can pre-order here.
