Introduce your child to science at this fun event in Arnotts
Is your child constantly experimenting with slime recipes?
Are they forever asking science-related questions that you simply haven’t a clue how to answer?
Well, this event will be right up their alley.
Arnotts is embracing education with a new series of fun-filled events taking place on the 31st March and 7th April.
The STEM weekends are a celebration of all things Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths related, and aim to engage and inform children to the ways of the world around them all in an interactive and entertaining setting.
Interactive workshops from “Djeco”, “Arckit” and “Tech will save us” will aim to encourage creativity and nurture each child’s imagination with arty craft kits designed to promote design and drawing.
Dr. Jennifer Cleary, a lover of all things science, will be there with wacky experiments and fun science tricks; a must see for all those budding mini scientists, Jennifer’s in-store appearances will take place at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3pm each Saturday.
Irish engineer, scientist, performer and one of Ireland’s leading space explorers, Dr Niamh Shaw will also be in-store on March 31st from 2:30pm – 4:00pm, with crew mate Stargazer Lottie also in attendance.
Recently voted one of Ireland’s leading science communicators and STEAM specialists, she will share her thoughts on the story of space and encouraging all children to dream big.
