Toddler hands his dad a small box... and his mum starts BAWLING when she sees what's inside

This is actually one of the sweetest things we've seen in a while!

Sadie and her boyfriend, Joshua, were celebrating their son's birthday when Sadie herself received the ultimate gift.

Two-year-old Christian was handed a box containing pink crepe paper.

Inside the box was ANOTHER smaller box, which the tot immediately handed to his dad. 

And his dad is ready and waiting – on bended knee – to open the box and ask his girlfriend a very important question: "Will you marry me?"

And after a loooong few seconds, Sadie, who is clearly overcome with emotion, finally says yes!

We love this proposal; so sweet and unexpected.

And the best thing? Joshua will ALWAYS remember the date he proposed!
