Three baristas reach out to comfort woman - and are surprised by what happens next

When Pierce Dunn, Evan Freeman and another co-worker went into work that day, they were certainly not expecting to end up all over the news or to comfort a grieving wife

But they did and restored our faith in humanity at the same time.

The day after losing her husband, Adam, to heart disease, Alisha Wisbey went to get a coffee at Dutch Bros., Vancouver, a place she regularly visited.

But when an employee asked how her husband was, the grieving widow said that she just lost it and broke down.

However, when she pulled up to the window to collect her order, the baristas behind the counter realised she was upset and reached out to comfort and pray with her.

“They wanted to let me know that I’m not alone and they feel my pain,” Alisha explained to Fox 12.

“And that no matter what faith you are, what colour you are, who you are, other people can feel your pain and they’re there for you.”

However, they didn't realise that a customer behind them had taken a photo and posted it to social media, where it went viral.

And while the boys got the recognition they deserved, Alisha got something so much better – a tribute to Adam.

“Something spiritual or something beautiful like that, you can’t always see it, at that moment,” she explained.

“But I can now because I have picture, and it’s another way I can remember him.”

What a truly beautiful story, it deserves to be shared with family and friends.
