This selfless grandmother will give birth to her own grandchild!

Michelle Hearndon is doing the most selfless thing ever for her eldest son Daniel. 

Michelle has agreed to act as a surrogate for Daniel and his partner Kyia, and will give birth to her own grandchild. 

Having already faced complications with a previous pregnancy, Kyia was told that it was too dangerous for her to have another child, as she suffers from a rare blood disorder that causes extreme clotting. 

Discussing the possibility of surrogacy, Michelle offered up her services and has vowed to carry the couple's baby. 

"As a mother of nine, I could never imagine not being able to have children,' Michelle told Daily Mail Australia.

"They needed someone who would be a surrogate and I said "why not me?"' 

The Hearndon family have since set up a go fund me page to raise money for the procedure.

The plan is for embryos to be created through IVF using Kyia's eggs and Daniel's sperm, which will then be transferred artificially into Michelle. 

If all goes to plan, Michelle will deliver her biological grandchild nine months later.
