Mackenna Newman posted a photograph of her dad sitting outside his bedroom.

It’s an ordinary photo, yet it holds an extraordinary message.

The 17-year-old's dad sits outside his bedroom at his desk with a travel mug as his wife is inside.

Mackenna’s mum has cancer, and due to her radiation, she needs to sit in isolation.

So her dad, Jon, not being able to sit with her inside, set up a little camp outside the room so he can stay with his wife and support her journey.
