This is Ireland's 2017 Eurovision entry, and we kind of love it
The Eurovision: we all moan about it… but the majority of us secretly LOVE it!
And, in fairness to this year's judging panel, we actually like 2017's entry (which will represent us in May in Kyiv, Ukraine).
The song, Dying To Try, is performed by singer and musician Brendan Murray (from Hometown, for all you trendy mums), and was chosen from over 320 entries.
Filmed on Bray Head, the below video is full of drama and epic shots of the seaside town; the song itself is pretty emotional, and nothing beats a good aul emotional tune.
Described as having a very unique and soulful voice, Brendan admits his mum teared up the first time she heard the song.
And, after listening to him belting it out, we're not surprised she welled up!
