This gender reveal did NOT go to plan (according to these sisters)

Mum-of-two, with another one on the way, Lyndsay Far decided that for her gender reveal she was going to do something a little different.

Building her very own rainbow volcano, Lyndsay filled the structure with foam the colour of which would signify whether they were having a boy or a girl.  

So far so good.

She then handed both of her two daughters a spoonful of powder to pour into the volcano, which would cause an eruption of colour.

“Mummy and Daddy found out today whether you’re going to get a little sister or a little brother,” Lyndsay says in the video shared on Pretty 52.

“If the lava is pink, you’re getting a little sister. And if the lava is blue, you’re getting a little brother.”

So what happened when the kids added the powder?

Well, let's just say the eldest one was NOT impressed when blue erupted from the volcano.

In fact, they were CONVINCED that Mum and Dad had made a mistake.

“Nooo! You made it the wrong colour,” shouted one. 

Their disappointment quickly turned to upset, with the little girl breaking down in tears, and their parents couldn’t help but laugh in the background.

“You’re getting a little brother,” said Mum, in the hopes of saving the situation.

“Aw, I wanted pink!”
