This dad's totally relatable parenting comic strip is hilarious
Being a parent you'll no doubt find yourself in some weird and wonderful situations, like when your baby crawls onto your head, just because.
And being a parent to an eight-year-old himself, this is something artist John Kovaleski knows about all too well.
John is an artist whose work has featured talking toys and monkeys, but his latest project, Daddy Daze, sees him looking a little closer to home – at his own son.
"I was looking for a new project to do and ended up reviewing some old projects for inspiration," John told HuffPost.
"This was during my son’s first year. All those strips were based on true stories, but for ‘Daddy Daze’ I fictionalized it up, and kept the character based on my son an infant, as opposed to the gigantic grade-schooler he is now."
John's comic follows the fictional character of single dad Paul and his son Angus, who is loosely based on John's own son as a baby. He covers feeding time, the "weird" behaviours of kids (like when they crawl on your head to have a nap…) and just the general joy of being a parent.
The comic strips are so relatable and HILARIOUS!
