This dad's 'terrified' face during his partner's labour is ALL of us

Labour is not exactly a walk in the park for us mums, but, admittedly, it's not a piece of cake for the men either. 

While they don't have to push a person out of their vajayjay, they do, in fairness, have to deal with us crushing their fingers to the point of them being numb. 

Something this poor dad called Jive knows about all too well. 

Clearly unable to express himself verbally in front of his poor partner – it definitely would not go down well – Jive's face gives away EXACTLY how he is feeling.

Just LOOK: 

Mum Alisha Baxter posted the photo to Today's Facebook page, and wrote: "Thought I'd share this photo of my partner while I was in labour. Every time I look at his face and how squished his fingers are I crack up."

And we are so glad she did. 

Not solely because it is fairly funny, but because it reminds us that our birth partner deals with a fair amount in the labour ward – and they are just as terrified as us! 

And in some kind of pain… just look at Jive's fingers!
