THESE are the most popular baby names right now… and we're surprised by a few

Oh, baby names, we could scroll through lists of boys' and girls' names for HOURS, and we're not even pregnant! 

There is just something incredibly relaxing and enjoyable about it… 

So when BabyCentre released their half-year top baby names for 2017, we were all over it! 

Of course the usual ones were back, with Emily, Ava, Isabella, Amelia, Harry, Jack and George having already featured in top ten lists before.

However, there were a few names in the list for boys that surprised us: Freddie and Jacob, in particular.  

It's been a while since either of these names featured in top ten lists before, and, to be honest, we're surprised because they're such gorgeous little names.
