There's an urgent call out for gingers... and here's how you can help
The longest established website for connecting sperm donors, recipients and co-parents have an urgent call for more red-haired folk.
The call comes as the company reveals: "Only two per cent of our sperm donors have ginger hair."
Co-ParentMatch aims to help people looking to become parents by giving advice on health screening, fertility law, rights and responsibilities of sperm donors, and fertility products, as well as putting people in touch with donors.
But the company are experiencing an all time low from gingers, setting up a social media campaign to entice red-haired males.
Using the hashtag 'Save Gingers', the site is looking for people to tag their ginger friends, so they may possibly donate as there has been a significant rise in the number of requests for ginger sperm donation.
Co-ParentMatch even list some reasons why gingers should donate, including: "Make a positive contribution to someone's happiness" or "Leave a legacy".
And there are benefits to donating too! By donating sperm you can help single women, single lesbians, lesbian couples and infertile couples achieve their dream of becoming parents.
Good karma for all the times you've teased a ginger, guys – make sure to tag your ginger friends!
