
The 'Mermaid Workout' is the newest fitness trend – and we're MAD to try it!
We’ve tried TRX, yogalates, callanetics – stuff we can’t pronounce never mind pull off, but now there’s a new exercise craze hot on their ‘tails’.
And it promises to make our Disney princess dreams come true, as well as give us a very nice arse. All in all consider us very intrigued!
Mermaid fitness sees participants don a mermaid tail (!) before they splash into the pool for a series of mermaid workouts based around elements of yoga, Pilates, resistance training and water aerobics.
Not only do the exercises look bloody gorgeous, they’re clearly super effective too – moving your entire body in this unfamiliar way works your core and bum BIG time, challenging muscles you’ve had no truck with before.
