Speaking on the partnership, Claire Tighe, CEO of TheatreWorX Productions said, ‘We are delighted to partner with Barretstown Children’s Charity as our nominated charity this year, we’re hoping that we’ll have a full house on December 12th and raise much needed funds for this worthy cause’.
CEO of Barretstown Children’s Charity, Dee Ahearn said, ‘We are really delighted to be chosen as charity partner for the Helix Panto this year. It’s a very exciting end to what has been a hugely important year for us as we celebrate our 25th anniversary and the milestone of having served our 50,000th camper. Every year we need to raise over €6 million to run our therapeutic programmes to serve children affected by serious illness, and their families. The services provided to all the children and families who come to Barretstown are entirely free of charge, so fundraising efforts are vital for us to help more seriously ill children to experience the magic of Barretstown each year. Childhood stops for seriously ill children. At Barretstown, we Press Play on childhood’.
