The emotional moment a grandmother meets her four-year-old granddaughter for the FIRST time

Joy Buasi has a four-year-old daughter Mali, who has never met her paternal grandmother.

The mum-of-one lives in Thailand with her husband, but unfortunately her husband’s mum, who lives in the United States, wasn’t able to make the trip.

That was until now.

And Mali could not be happier to meet her granny for the first time.

Waiting patiently in the airport, holding a single rose, the four-year-old is excited to spot her nana walking across a platform.

Jumping straight into her arms when she arrives, Mali appears to be completely content and at ease in her grandmother’s arms.

Both are so happy to see one another when Granny, through glassy eyes, states:

“I’ve wanted to see you for so long.”

And with that Mali reaches over to give her grandmother a kiss, and yep, you guessed it; we’re in floods of tears.
