So sweet: Star of Aldi’s Swap and Save ad is surprised by her grandchildren

Mother's Dsy is this Sunday, March 31 and what better way to show your mum some appreciation for all she does than to gift her with a fabulous bouquet of blooms?

That's where Aldi comes to the rescue.

The store is chock-full of stunning flowers to pick for your mum and they are all beautiful.

And what got us in the feels was when Joan Blake, star of Aldi’s latest Swap and Save ad, was surprised today by her grandchildren.

They were alden down with gorgeous bouquets for their gran who looked  delighted with the thoughtful presents.

They included, 12-year-old Joshua, ten-year-old Kyle, eight-year-old Adam seven year-olds Adam, Andrew and Annie and 21-month-old Emi.

The flowers were all from Aldi’s Mother’s Day range, which will be on sale in all 137 Aldi stores nationwide from Thursday, March 28.

They include the Glittered Pot Mum Gift Bag for €3.99, Gerbera in Glass for €4.99, specially Selected Best of the Bunch €9.99 in which you can choose from white magnum blooms and lisianthus to add a real touch of class or lilac carnations and longi lillies to add a sense of elegance.

On the slightly pricer end of the scale there is Specially Selected One in a Million for €29.99 each – which is a classic rose and lily bouquet with a Mother’s Day twist and Specially Selected Mother’s Day Showstopper for €39.99 – which is purple haze roses and lilac lisianthus form the basis of this stunning bouquet.
