'So grateful': Businessman offers homeless man a job on the spot
James Minns was out celebrating his anniversary with his wife and friends in Newcastle, England, when he ran into a young homeless man on the street.
After giving him £20, he started to ask him about his life.
Ryan Davidson then told him that he had been on the streets for three years after he lost his job, and that he didn't have any contact with his family.
The 25-year-old was shocked when James then said to him, “if you were offered a job, would you take it?”
“One hundred percent,'' was Ryan's reply.
The job was a paint-coating company and James gave Ryan instructions to show up on Monday at 7am.

What an act of generosity, right?
James posted a selfie of the pair to his Facebook page, explaining the amazing encounter.
He wrote, ''this kid has just told me he has been out of work and homeless for 3 years and he has no family. Me and wez have just gave him £20 for a drink and food and I’ve have told him to turn up at my work 7am Monday morning. I hope he does cause what an opportunity it could be for this kid.''
The post received thousands of responses, with one from one of Ryan's family members who sent a contact phone number to James so he could call Ryan in advance.
Even a local milkman saw the photo and offered to give Ryan a ride to work!
Another Facebook post followed when Ryan showed up for his first day of work, with James simply captioning it, ''look who’s here. First day at work for Ryan. Over the moon to see him. Hopefully the beginning of great things for him.''
Ryan told the BBC, "I love my job and everybody has made me feel so welcome. It has opened my eyes to how generous and kind people can be. I've never met anyone like James – he has changed my life completely."
