So easy and tasty: 2-ingredient chocolate mousse

With only two ingredients, this rich dessert will be a winner at your next dinner party. 

Ingredients

  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Method

1. Whip the egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Set aside.

2. Melt the chocolate over a double-boiler or in the microwave. Let cool a little and add the egg yolks and the vanilla extract if using. 

3. Delicately fold the egg whites, trying not to break them.

4. Pour into 4 ramekins and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
