Sisters get the biggest shock in their grandparents' house leaving them in tears
No one expects their children to break down in tears while staying in their grandparents' house.
It is unheard of, as every child knows that is where the sugar loot hides out and your grandparents allow you run wild.
But Eleanor and Hannah are the exception, after spending the day at their grandparents house they two girls were reduced to tears, with Hannah even telling her parents and grandparents: "I hate you."
However, the tears were full of happiness, as the girls got the biggest shock they could have hoped for.
The girls' parents explained to Love What Matters: "We have been looking after our neighbour's dog for the past 18 months. When she announced she was expecting a child, and wouldn't need our dog-sitting duties anymore, we realised we would miss the dog terribly."
"We decided to get our own puppy and have been on the waiting list for six months. It has been extremely difficult to keep it secret form our two daughters. We have been so excited, it almost slipped out several times!"
But the day arrived, with Mum and Dad heading off to collect their eight-week-old puppy, Murphy; the girls being cared for by their granny and granddad.
When they arrived home, the girls were asked to sit on the couch, covering their eyes with no peaking.
That was when little Murphy was placed sitting on Hannah's knee, her face upon discovery was priceless.
Both Eleanor and Hannah were reduced to tears, not able to get words out to express their happiness, with only Hannah being able to mutter 'I hate you' because they waited so long to tell her.
The two sisters are completely overcome with emotion, delighted with the newest addition to the family, and we have a feeling this little puppy is going to have two best friends for life.
