This woman was SICK of baby pressure from relatives... so she did THIS
As any newly married couple can tell you, “When are you going to give us a day out?” quickly changes to, “Come on, it’s baby-making time – get to it!”
So one woman had the BEST way to silence family members putting pressure on her to have kids – a maternity photoshoot featuring her DOG.
Carrie Jensen and her hubby Nic, from Iowa in the US, were fed up of being bugged about babies, so they decided to take the paw-some photos with their golden retriever puppy Leelu.
“My husband and I have been married 3 years and everyone is bugging us about having a baby,” she captioned the photo she shared on Reddit. “Close enough right?”
“We hear the usual comments, usually from aunts, our moms, and our grandmothers,” Carrie told The Huffington Post. “Questions like ‘When are you guys going to start having kids?’ And ‘Now is a good time to have one, that way your child and (insert cousin’s kid’s name) will be around the same age!’”
And while Carrie says she loves kids, she is adamant that she doesn’t want to have any of her own.
“I work at an elementary school and I love seeing the kids and interacting with them,” she told The Huffington Post. “I would never discourage anyone from having kids if they want them. My sister Becca has an 18-month-old boy and I love being an aunt to him. I just don’t want to be a mother – I’ve never seen it for my life.”
