Siblings LIFT car in a bid to save a couple and their 11-day-old baby
Aaron Allen and Jolisa Jones were driving down a highway in their delivery truck when they spotted an overturned SUV.
The car had veered off the road after it was hit by another vehicle and ended up in a creek.
Without hesitation, the siblings rushed over to see if they could help, and were shocked to find a couple and an 11-day-old baby trapped in the car.
Realising that water was seeping into the vehicle, Aaron and Jolisa jumped into action.
"I could see that water was seeping in the inside of the car, you know – it was turned upside down. We tried to break the window but that didn't work," Aaron told Fox13.
"The only thing I could think of was to flip the car over."
With an incredible show of strength, the brother and sister duo managed to turn the car the right-side up. Once it was upright, Aaron wrapped his T-shirt around his arm and broke the window.
Thankfully, all three managed to get out of the car unharmed. The baby was taken to hospital as a precaution though.
Both Jolisa and Aaron hurt their hands in the rescue but they would do it again if they had to.
“If I was in that situation, I would want someone to come to my rescue, honestly,” he told the news outlet. “I would want someone to help me."
