‘She brought me back’: Girlfriend saves life of teen struck by lightning
One teenage couple were not expecting their camping trip to turn out the way that it did.
Juliette Moore got the shock of her life when she found her boyfriend, 18-year-old Isaiah Cormier laying face down in the grass without a pulse.
How would you react in that situation?!
Isaiah was standing by the tent in Denver, Colorado, when he was struck by a bolt of lightning that jumped from a tree nearby into his neck.
Juliette had luckily taken a CPR class the month previously so she quickly jumped into action.
After carrying out chest compressions, her boyfriend stared to gasp for air, but then stopped breathing again.
After the second round, he regained consciousness again.
According to the Good News Network, Sgt. David Salaman of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said, ''luckily, his girlfriend was right there, moved into swift action, started resuscitation efforts and began CPR,” “It’s very important that resuscitation efforts were started right away.”
Paramedics near the campsite took them to a hospital in Boulder County.
“I was going to die. She brought me back. I was going to die again. She brought me back,” Isaiah said.
Isaiah may have a scar on his neck from this traumatic incident but he ahs mad an amazing recovery – and owes it all to hsi girlfriend!
