Servers do something incredible after they spot a mum eating alone
Barbara Foy was feeling sad when her son failed to call her on Mother's Day, so she went out for dinner to make herself feel better.
However, little did Barbara know, but something pretty incredible was about to happen.
The servers at the Ruby Tuesday restaurant in South Carolina spotted the mum, who has not spoken to her son in a while, and decided to do something to cheer her up.
Mom dining alone on Mother's Day gets celebrated by Ruby Tuesday staff- “I really felt like I was queen for a day, mother for a day!” Barbara Foy said https://t.co/qj1O78nqAx

After hearing her story, they put together a gorgeous little gift basket containing various items to make her feel better.
They also paid for her meal.
“We wanted to make sure that she knew how special she was on Mother’s Day,” Lauren Nave, the general manager told WMBF.
And they certainly succeeded.
“I really felt like I was queen for a day…mother for a day!” said Foy. “I’ve never been made to feel so special.”
But it wasn't just the servers who went out of their way to make her feel better: a customer gave her a single rose to cheer her up.
What a lovely gesture from both the staff and the customer.
