'Seriously a life saver': Mum's teething hack has parents divided
There is nothing worse than seeing your baby uncomfortable and in pain, which is, unfortunately, one of the symptoms of teething.
And, as mums, we will try everything and anything to help ease their pain – which is exactly what Emelia Jackson was hoping to do with her teething hack.
The mum's baby boy was in a lot of discomfort thanks to his teeth so she decided to do something to make him feel better.
Filling up his soother with water, Emelia then popped it into the freezer for a couple of hours.
The mum would then give it to her son who was soothed by the "cold binky".
However, it seems that Emelia's hack has divided a lot of opinions; while many parents insisted they would be giving it a try, others were quick to point out a pretty serious issues with the trick: choking.
"You need to closely supervise as this could be a choking hazard," wrote one mum.
"I know my children never just sucked on the pacifiers.
"They would take them out and chew on them from the side. They preferred frozen waffles in the mesh bags over ice and popsicles too.
"They were too cold."
Another said: "My baby turns his around so he would choke on the ice."
Others said that while their baby found relief, the ice melted too fast.
"I got two yesterday and did this! She loved it except the ice melts within like 2 min aha but she still loved it [sic]."
What do you think? Will you be giving it a try?
