Quick eggless chocolaty muffins
Description:
A simple muffin recipe with a lovely chocolate hit and not an egg in sight.
Main ingredients:
Dairy, Flour, Sugar
Ingredients:
130g wholemeal flour
2 tsp baking powder
170g demerara sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
240 ml milk
4 tsp dairy spread
Icing sugar, to decorate
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas mark 4.
Line a muffin tray with paper cases.
Combine all of the ingredients together in a large bowl.
Divide the mixture evenly between the muffin cases and sprinkle the tops each with demerara sugar.
Bake for about 20 minutes, until well risen and just firm on top.Dust over the tops with some icing sugar if you like.
