Policeman takes mum and kids into his car, and you'll never guess what he did next
The Police service have unearthed a bad rapport in recent times, nonetheless, there are a few instances that have restored our faith in the force.
After bringing you the story of the policeman who helped a four-year-old girl, we felt it fitting that we share this compelling story with you too.
Autumn Snyder, her husband Sean and family were travelling home when their car broke down on a busy intersection.
With three kids in the back, one being a hungry newborn, it wasn't the most ideal situation for the family.
Naturally, Autumn was afraid to take her newborn out of the car on such a busy road, fearing the worst, instead waiting for the AAA to arrive.
However, in the process, an Alabama State Trooper showed up to the scene, ready to help the family out as much as he could.
As with most troopers, the mum-of-three assumed he arrived to divert traffic away from the family's lane.
Instead, what he gave this family was hope; a restoring faith in humanity.
Autumn revealed to Love What Matters: "He loaded the kids and I in his car and got us off the highway and to the closest rest stop."
"He checked the bathroom for 'boogiemans' so Madeline could use the restroom. He shot illuminating helicopters in the sky with the kids while I made calls to try to get home."
And when Mum was trying to calm her two older kids, her newborn, Major, became fussy, uneasy with the day's events.
"Without hesitation, he took Major out of his seat and gave him the bottle I had prepared earlier. It seemed like he does that everyday, knew how to hold him and when to burp him. Major even filled his pants during his feeding and the trooper laughed and continued feeding him."
If that wasn't enough, this officer brought the family to a nearby hotel, unloading all their bags until they could get a rental car the following morning.
Sometimes, it just takes one person to spread some kindness that will light up an entire village. What an ace officer.
