Officer finds a toddler DRIVING a police car, what he does next is incredible
When a police officer in Illinois pulled over, lone driver Mandy Heilman assumed she had done something wrong but couldn’t think what it could possibly have been.
But when he didn’t come to her car, she quickly realised her driving was not the reason the officer came to a sudden halt.
The officer with the Pekin Police Department had spotted a toddler – driving a police car.
The toy police cruiser was being driven along the path when Officer Jones got out of his car to chat with the mini officer.
Seeing the tot’s love for the force, Jones brought him over to his real cruiser and allowed him to sit in the driver’s seat, looking at all the different controls.
After feeling compelled to take the snaps, Mandy said: “It was random and kind and it shows how lucky we are to have some really great officers in our community. This is police work done right”.
Pekin Police Department also posted the snaps, showing Officer Jones and his helper high-fiving one another.
These photos are just too cute, we’re loving the camaraderie!
