Photo of young girl at soccer game is going viral for all the right reasons
Our kids are impressionable, they can often follow what they see on TV or read in books and take it as normality.
This is also known as the 'girls wear glass slippers and boys play sports' kind of thinking.
But we are well aware that this is not normality and when we have the opportunity to pinpoint an example for our children, it is a great day.

When, Clara Walker, was at a football game recently she was mesmerised by the referee.
She has been attending games for some time with her dad, and has always had a love for the referees because they wear black.
You see black is the young girl's favourite colour, so each time she walks into the field, the referee is the first person she tends to notice.
The four-year-old got the quite the shock at the latest Garforth Town Association Football game in England though, as there was something different about the referee.

Clara's dad Nathan took a picture of his tot, who was astonished to realise the referee was in fact, a girl.
Nathan revealed: "[My] daughter was delighted to see this assistant referee today 'her hair is like mine, can I be a referee?'"
If this isn't proof that we need to see more women in sport, I don't know what is – the happiness on this little girl's face that she has found a female idol is everything.
