Nutritious snacks on the go: five ways to fill up AND be healthy

Healthy snacking is a great way to combat that dreaded hunger in between meals. 

We have some great recipes and ideas for delicious (and HEALTHY) snacks for you to munch on at your desk or to take on-the-go.

1. Apple slices with peanut butter

This snack is delicious and nutritious. You will get protein and one of your five-a-day. 

2. Cubed cheddar with grapes

A quick and easy snack – simply stick alternative layer of cheddar cheese cubes with green or red grapes on a cocktail stick and then enjoy. 

3. Granola and yoghurt

Combine a bowl of healthy granola with a few spoonfuls of your favourite yoghurt for a delicious mid-morning snack. Add some chopped berries or a banana if you are feeling particularly peckish.

4. Hummus with carrot and celery sticks

This savoury delight is the perfect guilt-free way to banish hunger. 

5. Cinnamon popcorn 

Sprinkle a teaspoon of cinnamon and some brown sugar on freshly popped popcorn… YUM!
