Nursing mama decides to cover her face after stranger approaches her in McDonald's
Nicolle Blackman was left in shock recently, when a stranger asked to her cover up while she fed her baby boy.
The mum-of-two was nursing her two-month-old son Cameron in a local McDonald's when she was approached by the woman.
However, in a shocking turn of events, Nicolle was left reeling when she realised the issue didn't have anything to do with breastfeeding itself… more that the stranger's husband couldn't stop staring at her.
Taking to Facebook to share her ordeal, Nicolle wrote: "So while at McDonald's today I was breastfeeding my two-month-old son a lady told me her husband was staring at me and could I cover up."
Nicolle went on to explain that her 11-year-old daughter had never seen her mum cover up and was upset.
However, the mum's handling of the situation was absolutely spot on!
Instead of covering her boob like the stranger wanted her to do, she took a blanket and popped it over her face.
The mum's Facebook post has been shared an incredible 26,000 times, and people were quick to praise her for her genius response.
"LOVE THIS!! GREAT job mama!!! #normalizebreastfeeding [sic]," wrote one commenter.
While another pointed out that at the end of the day the real issue lies with the husband…
"If her husband's staring then she needs to talk to HIM – what a creep."
