Mum shares a post on anxiety and it’s something EVERY mama should read
Mum-of-three Claire Treacy shared an honest post online surrounding the events of her birthday.
On the morning of her birthday, a celebration for many, Claire’s was filled with anxiety.
Anxiety didn’t care it was her birthday, or that she had plans that day, or that she had three busy kids to care for.
Claire explains: “My anxiety swallowed me whole. She put her foot down. She just didn't care about our plans.”
“My mind felt heavy, dazed, tight and foggy. Yesterday was my birthday and yesterday I cried.”
But the mum reinforces that there is always light at the end of the tunnel, keeping her ‘bright side out’.
Reassuring all mums, “Not every day will be a good day, but there is good in every day, no matter how small, it is there."
“If you can't see it today, that's OK, it's just one day and it will pass, tomorrow will feel lighter and a little brighter,” she added.
Concluding, Claire admits she is going to take it easy, slowing down and listening to her babies play, telling the world:
"Today I'm ok, and tomorrow you will be too."
Such a beautiful post, we think all mums deserve to know they're not alone.
