Mum mortified when son says she 'gets her boobs out' for work

As mums, we've all experienced some form of embarrassment at the hands of our wonderful children (sometimes by accident; mostly on purpose).

So, we can totally relate to how this mum feels after her son described what he thinks she does at work. 

User Fraggleerockfunky took to Mumsnet recently to share a story that would leave anyone's face a beautiful shade of crimson. 

"Dropped my little boy who is four at school this morning and his teacher asked for a word," the anonymous mum wrote. 

"Apparently on Friday they got asked what their mummy's and daddy's did for work [sic]." 

And this is where it gets really interesting.

Continuing, she wrote: "My DS said his dad works in an office and helps people (all good).

"DS said his mummy – GETS HER BOOBS OUT!"

But that is not even close to what she does!

In fact, the mum works in an office helping people as well – a place her son has been loads of times. 

"My husband works in the same place."

The embarrassed mum explained that the teacher, who was laughing at the situation, just wanted her to know what he had said!

"How do I live this down and where did DS get it from? He is sometimes in the room when I get dressed but apart from that…

"I need to leave the country, don't I?"
