Mum has a VERY unique (and clever) way of teaching her daughter about bullying
A Tennessee mum-of-two completed the ultimate task before sending her daughter to school.
Amy Beth Gardner was prepping her little girl, Breonna, for her first day, doing all the mummy-daughter tasks: kitting out her school locker, picking out a backpack and buying a new uniform.
However, Amy had one incredibly important thing she wanted her daughter to understand before entering the next chapter of her life.
So, Amy asked Breonna to squirt a tube of toothpaste onto a plate.
When the child completed her task, the mum then requested she put the toothpaste back into the tube.
Confused, Breonna exclaimed: “But I can’t, it won’t be like it was before.”
And what her mum said next is the best advice any mother can give their child on the first day:
“Just like this toothpaste, once the words leave your mouth, you can't take them back," she said.
"Use your words carefully, Breonna.”
Amy’s post has received over 800K shares worldwide as it explains how hurtful words can be and how best you can utilise them.
"Decide tonight that you are going to be a life-giver in middle school. Be known for your gentleness and compassion. Use your life to give life to a world that so desperately needs it," Amy added.
We think all mums should have a read of this and pass on the wisdom to their little ones.
