Mum has a GENIUS way of capturing her family trips – and it doesn’t involve a camera
One Brooklyn mum has come up with the most novel way of recording her family’s travel vacations, and we are definitely on board.
We live in a generation where every single move we make is documented on our smartphones; all those precious moments are recorded for life.
But what happens when we lose/break that phone and the cloud (that no one has any idea how to use) just didn't have enough dreaded storage?
Lori Richards has been keeping travel journals since she was a teen, but lately they have been upgraded to the coolest diary we have ever seen.
The mum-of-two brings pens and paper on her family trips and basically illustrates their entire holiday.
The drawings depict places the family have been to, the kind of sights they visited and routes they walked on the days of their visit.
The drawings are a fantastic idea and a great way for the children to get involved, giving you suggestions on what to include.
And more importantly, a great way to document your travels which you can keep – forever.
Lori is a designer and illustrator by profession so naturally the drawings are super cute, but there’s still no reason why you can’t doodle your memories too!
