Mum gets up at ridiculous o’clock to make a cake, and you WON'T believe your eyes

Kansas City mum Kristi was so proud of her son for graduating to the next level in cub scouts she decided to surprise him with a cake.

His Blue and Gold ceremony was coming up where he will leave cub scouts and now become a boy scout, in the ‘cobra’ den.

Feeling inspired the mum-of-two decided to make a SIX FOOT long cobra snake cake!

Since the cake was so big, Kristi left her bed at five in the morning to begin making her creation, just so it would be ready to decorate by 9am.

Roping in the help of her friends Lisa, Jennifer and Annika, the mum was lucky to get the cake completed.

The cake is a mix of rice krispies and bundt cake, with the recipe posted in Kristi’s blog Schooled In Love.
