Mum gets the shock of her life when she walks into newly renovated home

When mum Vickie walked into a newly renovated home she was in for the biggest shock of her life, thanks to her son Josh DeShong. 

Josh, who is a realtor, grew up in a single parent household and he admired his mother’s strength and determination.

Wanting his mum to know how much he valued her, Josh spent an entire year renovating a home in Texas.

The home was intended to be a short-term stay for Vickie, but her son actually had a pretty incredible surprise up his sleeve.

When Josh brought Vickie on a tour of the refurbished home he left her in complete shock – the house was actually hers to keep. 

In an incredible twist, Josh revealed that he had bought and renovated the house as a thank you for his mother’s hard work raising him on her own over the years.
