Mum captures the special bond between her parents and children, who see each other just ONCE a year
A Lithuanian woman living stateside has captured the heartfelt moments her children spend with her parents.
Spending time with grandparents is a natural everyday occurrence, however for, Ivette Ivens, it’s a once-a-year family occasion.
Ivette’s parents live in her home country of Lithuania, where Ivette and her two boys visit every year from Chicago.
But no matter the distance the bond her kids share with their grandparents is unbreakable.
In a new project called ‘Generations’, photographer Ivette captures the minute details of bonding and the friendship children form with their grandparents in such short spaces of time.
The love that can be seen in these photographs are identifiable with many families throughout the world, bringing happy memories to the fore.
The genuine moments are raw and striking, almost bringing tears to your eyes.
We are utterly captivated by the beauty of these snaps and the story they depict.
