Model 'promotes breastfeeding' with stunning breast pump photo
She previously stunned in a beautiful family photo shoot for Vogue, in which she breastfed her newborn daughter Myllena, and now model Doutzen Kroes has impressed mums everywhere with her latest social media post.
The mother-of-two, who gave birth to her second child last July, took to her Instagram account to share a photo of herself ‘promoting breastfeeding’.
The stunning 30-year-old, who is also mum to four-year-old son Phyllon with her DJ husband Sunnery James, is pictured sitting on a couch and pumping breast milk into a bottle.
Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’ Doutzen captioned the beautiful black and white photo: “Daily routine! I’m promoting breastfeeding.”
“It’s the best for your baby when possible!” she wrote, adding the hashtags ‘breastfeeding mom’ and ‘breastfeeding awareness’.
Doutzen follows in the footsteps of fellow model and mum Gisele Bundchen, who caused a stir on social media when she posted a photo of herself being attended to by her hair and makeup team while breastfeeding daughter Vivian.
Another star who jumped on the photo trend is US actress Alyssa Milano, who shared a ‘glam squad’ photo of herself while also breastfeeding her newborn, Elizabella.
In light of so many ‘breastfeeding-shaming’ stories, it’s great to see public figures trying to bust the taboos.
