Man spends four years searching for his mum, but then makes a shocking discovery
Christine Tallady gave birth to a baby boy in 1985; a single mum at the time, she thought the best thing for her son was to give him up for adoption.
He was taken in by another couple and was given the name Steve.
The teen had always thought about his biological mum, so, when he hit 18, Steve decided that he wanted find her.
Sadly, after searching for four years, he realised that he had written her surname down incorrectly – and had been looking for the wrong surname.
But when he went back to the drawing board and started looking for a Christine Tallady, he got the shock of his life.
Talking to an employee about his mistake, it was here that he found out that Christine was very nearby.
In fact, not only was his biological mother in the same town as him, she worked in the same store in Michigan.
