Madagascar the Musical at the Gaiety Theatre is the PERFECT family night out
Families – the perfect night out for you all is sorted as Madagascar the Musical is heading to the Gaiety Theatre.
Running from Tuesday March 26 to Sunday, March 31, the play will only be on the stage for one week.
If there's any X Factor fans, you have another reason to see the show – the 2016 winner Matt Terry will take the role of Alex The Lion.

Matt said, ''I am so excited to be making my acting debut in the brand-new production, Madagascar – The Musical. It’s a childhood memory for all of us! I can’t wait to be playing the lead role of Alex and bringing him to life. Expect incredible costume, set and cast.''

Based on the DreamWorks animated motion picture, Madagascar, it follows all of your favourite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascaar.
So what are you waiting for?
Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime.
The shows will run from Tuesday to Saturday daily at 7pm and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday have matinees at 1pm.
