Lego tape is an actual thing, and we are VERY excited
Lego: mankind's greatest invention – and, no, we're not exaggerating.
It allows kids to let their imagination and creativity run wild; making houses, cities, rockets, anything that tickles their fancy that day, basically.
But the only limit is the fact that you need a flat surface to really be able to build anything on… well, that was before LEGO TAPE came on the scene.
Officially called LEGO Compatible Adhesive Tape – Nimuno Loops, it "instantly transforms virtually any surface into a base for LEGO® components!"
Simply "snip a length of Nimuno Loops, stick it on the hull, mount your cannon and be on yarr way," according to the website.
The invention was initially started on IndieGoGo fundraiser with the aim of raising $8,000, but with over 16,000 backers, it has already raised over $500K.
But we wouldn't expect anything less for a Lego invention!
