'I am in tears': Little girl is in shock at what she finds in her birthday present

Warning: this story is a tear-jerker – in a good way!

Paige Zezulka posted a video to Facebook of her little daughter getting the greatest surprise on her birthday. 

The video shows Paige and her husband Daniel watching as their daughter opens a box to find out some amazing news. 

She opens the present and realises that she is going to be adopted by Paige and Daniel. 

And not only her, but her brother and sister as well!

In the clip, which has been watched 4.4 million times, Daniel says, ''I  want you to read it'' about what appears to be a frame.

She reads the inscription, which is ‘I’m going to be adopted’ and the bursts into tears. 

Paige captioned the video, ''this will be my favourite video I ever share. This was the day we told our daughter that we were going to be able to adopt her (and her brother and sister)!''

She continued, ''she had been praying to be adopted and we found out on her birthday that it was going to happen! So the next day we gave her this surprise box! God’s timing was perfect!''

''Our kids spent 1,128 days in foster care, over 3 years. It is so hard on children to live in such uncertainty. Adoption is amazing and we want others to know that adopting older children and sibling groups can be the most beautiful adventure you could ever have!’

The post has clocked up a staggering 13k comments, 88k shares and 108k likes. 

The reaction on social media has been huge, with people expressing their joy at watching the video in the comments. 

The emotion of the whole thing got to some people, who wrote, ''I am in tears watching this! The beauty of true love!''

Another wrote, ''awww the way she looked at her mommy. That shows again you don't have to be blood to be a loving family.''
