Husband posts photo of wife before the London Marathon... and you'll never believe what happens next
When Petrus du Plessis posted this innocent, good luck snap of his wife, he had no idea how much interaction it would get.
His wife Lisa was off to run the London Marathon, and naturally he was proud as punch.
However, when he uploaded this photo to his Twitter, he hadn’t noticed what thousands of users copped seconds later.
Off to the #LondonMarathon today! Good luck to everyone running it! Rather you than me!! She is ready! pic.twitter.com/SUszxrrec8

Petrus and Lisa’s pet dog, Toffee, was having a private ‘moment’ in the back garden.
Toffee was going to the toilet as the photo was being taken, something Petrus hadn’t picked up on when he uploaded the snap.
And as usual, the people of Twitter world weren't long about 'dumping' them in it.
@PetrusduPlessis Just the dog doing a #paularadcliffe then?

@PetrusduPlessis Even the dog was nervous

But to be honest, we think Toffee knew exactly what he was doing!
After Lisa completed the marathon, Toffee was still in the running; as Petrus pointed out – Toffee was the real winner on the day.
The real winner of the day!! Congrats Toffee! #toffeepoobomb @UNILAD pic.twitter.com/CnT3a9CnHj
